Advertising Week Europe 2025 – Recap

This year marked the 11th edition of Advertising Week Europe (AWE)—a flagship event for marketers and advertisers. Hosted at the vibrant 180 Studios in Central London, the three-day experience brought together over 7,000 attendees and over 350 speakers. It was designed to inspire, connect, and spark new ideas.

Big Brands, Big Moments

A major focus this year was storytelling—and AWE delivered in style. The lineup featured standout brands such as Jaguar, Ryanair (Europe’s Favourite Airline), Tony’s Chocolonely, Spud Bros, SOHO House, Disney, Vevo, PayPal, Uber, Adobe, Meta, Samsung Electronics, and WeTransfer.

Throughout the week, AWE hosted a series of flagship moments. Morning sessions kicked off with Leadership Breakfasts, featuring partners like Pinterest Ads, The Independent, and Carwow. In the evenings, Late Night at Ronnie Scott’s with Vevo added a dose of glamour and energy to the event.

 

Immersive Experiences at Every Turn

Beyond the big names, attendees enjoyed an eclectic mix of experiences. From networking drinks and film screenings to product sampling and interactive brand activations, the event offered something for everyone.

AWE featured several interactive Zones, each anchored by a major stage. These spaces blended learning, creativity, and innovation, offering attendees hands-on engagement throughout the venue.

Right from the start, AWE balanced substance with style. Highlights included a coworking garden surrounded by lush greenery, and private meeting rooms with huge screens for bold creative showcases.

Attendees could also unwind at a wellness retreat between sessions. Meanwhile, the exclusive VIP Loft provided premium networking opportunities and quiet moments to recharge.

Powerful Stages. Powerful Voices.

At the heart of AWE were four main stages: the Innovation Lounge, Tech Stage, Entertainment Stage, and Empower Lounge. Each featured a curated lineup of speakers. From top CEOs and digital influencers to global music icons. The celebrity speaker’s lineup included top names such as Gary Lineker, Jessie J, Matt Lucas, Paddy McGuiness, Davina McCall, David Walliams, Emily Atack, Dynamo and more. Every talk added real insight and inspiration.

What truly made AWE 2025 stand out was its commitment to inclusivity and diversity of thought. The programming spotlighted a wide range of voices—from rising stars to seasoned leaders. This mix attracted diverse audiences across industries, generations, and backgrounds.

How AP LIVE Delivered AWE 2025

Technical Production Excellence

AP LIVE provided end-to-end support to ensure the event ran smoothly. AP LIVE’s sister company Absolute Audio-Visual Solutions managed all five stages, covering sound, video, lighting, and staging. With a 50-person crew on-site, they kept a packed schedule running without a hitch.

Live Content Creation & Streaming

Over three days, more than 150 sessions were recorded. Three stages were live – streamed, and attendees gained access to over 43 hours of on-demand content post-event. The team spent 84 hours on-site across the week to capture and deliver every moment with precision.

Bespoke Branding & Scenic Design

AP LIVE’s sister company Display Graphics led the visual transformation of the venue. They produced the custom Entertainment Stage and Empowered Lounge staging precisely as directed by the client, along with tailored branding for lounges, activation zones, and exterior spaces, 90% of the events activation spaces including CINT, Artlist and Genius Sports. Even the agenda walls, cloakroom, wayfinding, temporary wall coverings and monitor surrounds were crafted to create a cohesive, premium feel. 

Full-Service Event Management

Beyond production, AP LIVE handled every aspect of event operations. This included ticketing, guest services, security, catering, and staff management. The team also coordinated over 100 support staff and ran bespoke training sessions to ensure high standards across every role.
