Brief

To provide a technical and branding solution for Teads on their yacht activation at Cannes Lions.

The client needed a partner who could design and manufacture custom scenic and branding items, as well as provide IT and AV solutions for presentations, meetings, drinks receptions and parties.

Services Provided

Design and construction of custom branded items such as concession stalls, shoe storage, feedback stations, welcome desk and DJ booth. In addition, we provided technical equipment for a range of events, along with networking and internet access for guests.

The Challenge

This project came with a number of challenges that had to be overcome.

The first was that all of the events were held on a Yacht moored to the quayside in Cannes.

Space was limited, so there was a focus on packaging elements so they were as compact as possible, and there were strict limitations on what could and could not be done on board.

Access to the Yacht was limited pre-event, so a very specific build schedule was drawn up and had to be followed meticulously.

With no storage on board, yet events varying in style, we needed to ensure we had a solution in place to turnaround the space between sessions.

This was overcome by having a vehicle in Cannes which was used to store items, which was brought on and off site via liaison with port authorities to gain access to the quayside.

Two support teams were deployed, one to cover the daytime events, one for the evening parties.

Internet access was provided via a radio link to a high speed connection on the quay, however backup connectivity via bonded 4G was also available.

The Results

The client feedback for the project was so positive that we have supported this project for the last 3 years and counting.
