AP LIVE supported the 9th Advertising Week Europe in Central London; a week-long event of Thought Leadership, Awards, Breakfast and Lunch sponsored events, Round-tables and Wrap Party

Our Services

AP LIVE provide a core production team pre event oversee the logistics, venue management,  staffing, vendors technical, branding and all sponsored activations for lifecycle of project. Our inhouse team provide the technical consultation and provide all the equipment and a 60 strong onsite team to manage the Thought leadership stages, including rigging team, lighting technicians, sound technicians, camera operator and floor managers.

Our Stage management team oversee all the preproduction of around 150 individual sessions, ensuring that each owner has all the relevant information to make their time on stage a success.

We also source, train and manage a team of 70 event support team including scanners, VIP room manager, activation staff, queue managers, registration staff and general directional staff

Our core production team (consisting of Project Director, Production Manager, Technical director, Venue Production Manager, Session Manager, AW Studios Stage Manager & special events production team) have spent months planning the logistics and production elements for this event. Although it’s a repeat annual event, it doesn’t make the planning a ‘copy & paste’ job and Advertising Week team keeps us on our toes with new challenges each year!

With 150 sessions over 6 stages to plan, a multitude of sponsors to support and a jam packed special events programme to produce, our team always rise to the challenge and enjoy every part of being an extension of the Advertising Week team as their production partner.

When it gets to being onsite; it is no mean feat transforming the multiscreen cinema into the Event HQ for AWE, especially with only a one day fit up day in one of the busiest parts of Soho! Each year, we have an army of crew onsite to convert it from cinema to a highly branded event space. We produce over 300 individual pieces of branded print from our in-house set and branding division and this year we were tasked to make sure that ALL print was 100% recyclable and sustainable – switching vinyl’s and foamex to other environmentally friendly alternatives.


We always have fun creating Activation spaces within the Picturehouse for the Advertising Week sponsors. This year we created the Amazon Ads Delegate Lounge, The Smartly Smoothie Bar, Cint Sweet Shoppe, MediaMath Cloakroom, Yahoo VIP and Speaker Lounge, NextDoor popcorn. Tiktok branding

Special Events

The week kicked off on Monday with the Future is Female Awards present by LinkedIn at the glamorous BAFTA at 195 Piccadilly . Our team were responsible for bringing all the production, entertainment and catering together for this fantastic celebration of incredible strong females in the industry.

Outside of the Picturehouse for the remainder of the week, our special events production team were kept very busy managing the breakfast sessions at the renowned Ronnie Scotts  for The Evening Standard, Snap and Amazon Ads. We are always so impressed by the number of people up early to enjoy these sessions but the content is always so captivating (and the pastries so good) its easy to see why people set their alarms early to attend!

The Culture and Commerce lunches hosted by PWC, Influencer and IPA took place in the newly refurbished Ray Dolby Room at BAFTA and provided a perfect space for fine dining (the food was incredible) and yet more captivating presentations; the highlight being the final lunch on the Thursday with an interview with the BAFTA Award-Winning Film Writer & Director Richard Curtis.AW Learn and AW Accelerate took place in the majestic RSC at Burlington House and was a hive of activity and learning, supported by our technical and logistics team.

We finished off a fantastic week producing the Wrap Party which was hosted in Proud Embankment which is usually the home of London’s finest cabaret but we presented DJ Fat Tony on the decks and he brough the house down with his killer tunes.
