Client Christmas Party

Overview

AP LIVE had the opportunity to assist the client in managing a large-scale Christmas Party production. The event was managed alongside AAVS, who provided the technical services for the event and AP LIVE supported the client in logistics and delegate
management. The event was the client’s first Christmas party for staff since before the pandemic and needed to be a huge hit. Hosted in The Roundhouse, a drinks reception took place in the balcony and dinner in the main space, with 700 guests being treated to a show-stopping performance by the 7 piece band The Kitts. The night ended with a fantastic DJ set by Sam Totolee.

Services Provided

• We designed, created and managed a bespoke registration platform for
  the client – designing it to align with their event branding.
• We also provided a team of registration assistants to check in the 700
  expected guests. Having created a detailed briefing deck prior to the
  event, our amazing team were able to efficiently check in the guests that
  appeared on coaches and independently around 6.15 pm, and check in
  around 400 guests who arrived at 6.30 pm.
• The client needed support sourcing a fantastic party band to get the party
  going. We recommended a few different options and the client picked a
  strong favourite with a 7-piece band called The Kitts. The band consisted
  of 3 vocalists, guitar, bass guitar, drums and keys. They even performed a
  specially rehearsed version of Black and Gold to fit in with the client’s
  theme. During this song a massive confetti drop enhanced the
  performance, covering the guests with 38kg of paper confetti (the most
  amount the venue has ever seen at a gig!).
• The client also requested assistance sourcing and booking additional
  theming for the venue. We provided stunning large LED lit cherry blossom
  trees that flanked the stage at both sides and a forest of LED trees that
  surrounded the centrepiece to give an overall magical finish to the stage
  set up.

The Christmas party was a huge success. This event was the first Christmas party for the staff since before the pandemic and it was vital that they all had an amazing time.

The client shared a thank you message with the team for the amazing work and everything they had done on the evening of the event and during the lead up to the party.

The client stated that they had received overwhelmingly positive feedback, with a lot of staff and directors saying it was the best party the company had ever had.
