Guild of Gold Lion Awards, Porto

The celebratory evening commenced as guests arrived by boat from the Yeatman Hotel to a jetty outside the striking façade of the Museum of Transport. We projected Peugeot GOGL logos onto the side of the building, making a powerful impression on the special guests. Traditional Fado singers welcomed them during an alfresco cocktail reception.

Later, guests were invited to stroll through the historical venue, where they enjoyed a 3-course seated dinner before the awards ceremony commenced.

Following the ceremony, guests danced into the early hours of the morning, celebrating their triumph as Guild of Gold Lion winners.

Our team handled all aspects of catering, production, décor, printed items, transport, and logistics.

Transforming the venue

The venue, an old Customs House, needed significant production work to be transformed into a glamorous awards ceremony space. Collaborating with a local production company, we adorned the façade with branded logo projections for when the guests arrived. We also lined the entrance to the event space with LED rope lights and seamlessly integrated into the old tram lines to guide guests in.  We then set up a high-production awards dinner area with moving lights, stage and podium setting for the perfect ceremony and post-dinner entertainment platform.

With limited setup time, we efficiently accomplished everything.

Every detail covered

We arranged coaches to transport guests back to their hotel at the end of the night (opting for land rather than a boat crossing at the end of this high-celebration night!)
