Registration and Welcome Drinks Reception

Once all guests of the Peugeot Gold Lion Awards were checked in to the 5 star Yeatman Hotel, guests were invited to meet in the hotel lobby where we had arranged a fleet of tuk-tuks to take guests to first night welcome cocktail party at a restaurant on the beach outside of the city.

Day trip to the Douro Valley

Today was a full day trip from the Yeatman Hotel for the winners of Peugeot Gold Lion Awards to a vineyard in the Douro valley called Quinta da Pacheca. Guests were transported first on a private train carriage to a traditional boat which sailed down the Douro Valley where they arrived at the vineyard and enjoyed a private tour of the property and had a go at bottling the Port; as a reward they got to take away their own personalised bottle of Port.

The tour was followed by an exclusive lunch in the estate restaurant before returning home by coach.

Activities

Peugeot Gold Lion Awards guests could choose a tour of Porto or a RIB tour on the water, Shuttles and hosts were provided to run each tour. Afterwards the guests all joined together to do a private tour of Grahams Port Lodge with an exclusive seated lunch at the end of the tour.

Our Event Director managed the full logistics of all activities, including transfers to activities, hosts, catering and tour logistics

The final night culminated in a full-production Peugeot Gold Lion Awards dinner within the challenges space of the old Museum. Guests arrived by boat from the Yeatman to a jetty outside the venue, greeted with a traditional Fado singers greeting them. Guests enjoyed a 3 course seated dinner, followed by the Peugeot Gold Lion Awards ceremony then danced the night away with a DJ until early hours.
