Celebrating International Women’s Day - The Future is Female!

Today we are celebrating International Women’s Day. We are exceptionally proud of the strong women in our team and whilst we appreciate them each and every day, what better time to celebrate them than today.

This year’s theme for International Women’s Day is Embracing Equity.

Equity isn’t just a nice-to-have, it’s a must-have, and it is critical to understand the difference between equity and equality. When we embrace equity, we embrace diversity, and we embrace inclusion. We embrace equity to forge harmony and unity, and to help drive success for all.

Moving Venue

As part of International Women’s Day, we are proud to have had a part in producing the ‘Future Is Female’ awards as part of our collaboration with Advertising Week.

Last year’s event was held at Unit X London in Mayfair and marked the start of Advertising Week which is themed around diversity, inclusion and empowering the next generation.

The ‘Future is Female’ is a year-round global initiative for Advertising Week. Last year’s event also featured the designer Anya Hindmarch – creator of ‘Not a plastic bag’ in conversation with Pinterest which was nothing short of captivating. The food served was by Moving Venue and the event was completely packed with queues down the road as maximum capacity was reached, of 200 persons at a time inside the gallery space.

The Advertising Week ‘Future is Female’ Awards are back in London for 2023. Submissions are now open, and we are ready to meet the brilliant and extraordinary women in Europe’s marketing and advertising industries.

The Awards focus on creating a diverse space for women of different backgrounds, ages, and titles — whose uniqueness builds each other up and fosters cataclysmic change in our industry.
