The Union Club, London

For clients who approach us looking for a venue to host a variety of major events in a sought-after London location, the Union Club is the perfect choice!

From private dining experiences to hosting events for up to 300 people across its event spaces, the Union Club is an incredible multi-function location nestled away on Greek Street in Soho.

The Union Club is a friendly, bohemian members club which also has an interesting history within its walls. Set up in 1993 by ex-North Sea oil rigger Pete Cross and Chef Carolyn Dawson, the private members club began as a dilapidated building and was transformed by the duo into an established Soho institution. In 2015 the club acquired the 4-storey premises next door and expanded into what is now a warehouse-style workspace for members, and a series of chic meeting rooms.

Entrance

This inconspicuous building entrance is home to a secluded escape from the centre of the city. Inside the building spans an impressive four floors, full of carefree character and charm and suitable for a variety of events.

As you enter the ground floor you find a relaxed restaurant with a roaring fire, which is the ultimate comfort on wet and windy days in London. The Dining Room is full of chatter and mouth-watering smells from the kitchen, for the perfect homely welcome for guests.

The Union Club has further spaces which are perfect for smaller meetings or hosting events for up to 300 people, including film and TV shoots, gallery shows and much more. The best part is you don’t need to be a member to hire the space.

Dining Room

The first floor is home to the exquisite Dining Room. This warm, golden room is the perfect space for a private dining experience or small conference over a delicious meal. It provides plenty of natural daylight through the tall windows which transforms into an intimate evening ambience through chandeliers and soft lamp lighting. The elegant setting is complete with an assortment of portraits covering each wall. The menu is traditional and comforting, while remaining unpretentious. Everything is made fresh on site using fresh, in-season ingredients and menus are printed daily.

Studio

The Studio is the Union Club’s exclusive working space, a relaxed area with a converted warehouse finish which is ideal for working away from the office. This room encapsulates the comfort and privacy of your own living room, yet offers more space, the Union Club’s excellent staff, and a central London location right outside. Spaces can be reserved in advance or guests can drop in for the day to set up a meeting between a few colleagues or a client.

The Union Club provides everything that clients could need, from fine dining through to their own workspace. We love the spaces and the vibe of Union Club, and think you will too!
